Green just makes you think about trees, tree huggers and money, right?

Today I had an MRI. Because of this, I had to remove all of my body piercings. Cheer to myself I have forced lost a part of each of those person that came out so my goal today after the MRI was to find new jewelry to replace the jewelry that I had lost. I just discovered rediscovered a place that I found several years ago when I was here and they came through with the missing pieces that I needed.

after visiting the shop I was walking down sixth street and decided to stop and have a drink at a bar. There were three guys at the bar all talking and laughing over drinks and after a few minutes, the conversation got pretty interesting. Evidently one of the guys was gay and had been trying to pick up the two other guys who are straight when they have discovered what the situation was.

They all decided to sit down and have a drink and talk so the conversation went on and included lots of questions from the straight guys and lots of explanations from the Gay guy about his his marriage and grinder and other interesting gay cultural things that you straight men might not know the two straight guys were super interested in hearing what he had to say, and we’re very engaging and completely respectful and it was a really beautiful thing to see three people two different cultures and a major connection happened.

The conversation went on for like two hours, and although I was only meant to be there for a few minutes, I stayed and listen because it was super beautiful to see the human connection, especially when the people connecting were not necessarily in the same world.

This is what we’re missing in our world today. if people took a moment, maybe got away from their phones and had a conversation with somebody- especially if they were different than themselves – the world would be a better place. It’s this kind of connection that fosters understanding and ultimately peace.
